Flintclaw's ear twitched and he approached their new leader as he called the clan. A gathering, huh? It had certainly been a while. "Congratulations, Spiderstar," The dark tabby dipped his head and sat to look around while thunderclan gathered for the trek out to Seastones. He wondered if they had missed anything interesting. He doubted it, though. He doubted much would compare with their own current events.

Then a voice reached his ear. Head turned slightly and tilted as he looked to the dramatic tom. His ear twitched, and, unfortunately, it was the painful phantom ear just adding more irritation. "Nightwatcher, if your... scratch is so bad that you can't go to the gathering, then go somewhere else and stop messing up my count of cats actually attending." He growled, a rumble in his chest that brought the ache back. Had he been counting the cats showing up? Not intentionally. Now he would, since it had come to mind and he figured it might be a good idea.

The last thing he needed was to accidentally leave some clueless apprentice behind.
