A gathering? It was only when she was presented with the information that she realized just how long its been since her last gathering- or rather how long its been since Thunderclan went to one given how busy they were and... she was honestly excited. It was a nice break from her thoughts. It was tiring worrying all the time and dealing with thoughts that didn't even feel like were properly hers. Wasppaw was sick of it. She wanted to be able to see Spiderstar and not think about how he had laid in his own blood in the clearing not long ago.

A gathering. Surely that would convince her mind that her father wasn't as ghostly as it would like to try and make her believe. Not to mention that not only will dad, and Dragonflypaw get to show off their new ranks, but also her siblings that have now become warriors ( and maybe she was a little jealous over that still... whatever, she'll be right on their tails at the next meeting! After all, dad was her mentor now and Wasppaw knows he won't slack off on training like her previous mentor. )

Speaking of.. where are her siblings, surely they were planning to attend as well? Wasppaw looked around the gathering crowd for any of her million siblings.

Hornetpaw's ears perked up, as Dad called the clan together. She'd been grooming her fur in a corner of camp. Not that it had been messy, it never gets messy, but she just wanted it perfect. He continued to announce, that the clan was headed for the gathering. Oh? She gazed up at the sky. The moon was indeed full! She'd entirely forgotten, with the last one not going ahead. Then, another announcement made its way in: Dad had gained a life. So he was officially Spiderstar. Jaystride wasn't a name she recognised, but she still beamed with pride at her father's achievement. They were about to show the other clans that they're even stronger than ever, now.

Her head swivelled round, searching for a sibling or friend to go with - and her eyes settled on Wasppaw. Hm, the two had barely spoken lately, had they? Hornetpaw sauntered over, till she was next to her sister, "hey sis!" She greeted, before doing a big dramatic back stretch. "Let's hope this one's better than the last time." She smirked. Last gathering, she'd sat with some cat whose name she didn't remember. All she knew, is that they were totally responseless. Or was that the gathering before the last gathering? Did she just sit alone last time? Ugh, she couldn't even remember now. But basically, these events were often boring. Not this time, though. Because it would all revolve around ThunderClan. New leader, new deputy, new medicine cat, new med apprentice. They were the centre of attention.
