"Sounds like they got what they deserved,"

Pineblossom's eyes narrowed slightly at the medicine cats words. Sure, the decision was stupid, but to outright say the kits deserved to be attacked by a fox was rather ridiculous. The she-cat didn't utter a word about it however, instead watching as Treetiger worked whatever magic she needed to. The Hornet's ears perked when the medicine cat told her to star licking Juniperkit's wound clean, which she did.

When she finished, she stepped back as to let Treetiger do her thing. Pineblossom knew little about herbs. Marigold and cobwebs were easy enough, basic knowledge to prevent infections, but StarClan knows what else the medicine cat would have to use. Pineblossom met the medicine cat's gaze for but a mere moment when she asked another question. "He was nervewracked, but the walk back to camp calmed him down," she mewed in response. Foxkit hadn't had nearly the same reaction as the other two, shocking really. He also wasn't injured in the process so that could have reduced his fear in the situation.

Weepingpaw followed every order that Treetiger barked at him, keeping dead silent as Dragonflypaw wrapped the cobwebs and marigold poultice around his ear. The tom stood still, his golden gaze fixed on the ground in front of him. He nearly didn't feel conscious. Like it was all a nightmare that he would wake from. By some StarClan sent miracle, he and Juniperkit hadn't sustained anymore injuries from the fox, and they had been saved by those loners and the patrol from ThunderClan.

"Hmm, wh-what?" the tom stuttered, realizing Treetiger was talking to him. The words had processed in his head, he just needed to get the words out. "It s-stings a b-bit, b-but better than earlier," he managed to mew out quietly. His eyes never left the den floor.
