You are shrouded in darkness. Not a single sound breaks through the shroud of black. You stumble along blindly, not sure where your heading, nor what direction. And suddenly, a single light flares up in the distance. You scramble quickly to it, eager to be out of the darkness. Upon reaching the light, more flare up, circling you with their warm inviting light. A strange chanting begins, and two red eyes glow from the darkness.
"How... Curious." The voice resonates deep into your mind. You feel like it isn't speaking out loud, but only to you.
"A human being has somehow stumbled across my realm..." The flames flash, drawing closer. You can feel a cold, dead presence inspecting you, reaching into your mind and bringing forth memories you do not want to remember. It's torture, you realize, beginning to regret your decision of running to the candle. The light begins to burn, and you can feel a searing pain all over you.
And then, it stops.
"Yes... This mortal shall be one of my many puppets." The voice decided, the cold presence drawing away from you.
"Bow to me, young one, and I will spare you."
You fall to your knees with shock, trembling like a leaf. The presence draws near, like a snake approaching its prey. It strikes, sending pain into your mind, an intense fiery pain.
It fades.
And you sit up with a gasp, still in your own bed. And right on the back of both hands is a mark, a eye with fire one the right, and on the left is an eye with shadow. Your eyes have changed as well, becoming a bright red before fading to a deep brown.
In this RP, you used to be a simple human. But now, with the blessing/curse of an unnamed god, you are a demon. You can no longer control your actions, you are a puppet for this mighty god.
