Although perhaps he deserved a 'Worst brother of the year' award for not even checking in on her, he knew there must be much worse brothers somewhere. Like Ratnight, for example...right? Surely they were worse then he was, just for not checking in. But at the same time, he still felt bad. "Briar! I meant to-- after Ratnight died-- I thought-- anyways, that doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're alive," He purred, a smile coming onto his features. It wasn't often that Timberpaw couldn't finish a sentence, but it seemed that Briarbranch had stolen his speech from him as well. Part of that was that he was relieved to see her, and part was that he felt embarrassed for not making sure she was okay and asking her how she was doing first of all. "Are you okay? How have you been? I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch, I've been...busy." The tom mewed at full speed, continuing half babble as he did so.

As usual, Bushhunter was on her own. She didn't take much of an interest in what the other cats were doing, although her pelt-- she hadn't really noticed it, but absentmindedly she had been keeping it clean and neat, and it was recently shining brightly and proudly-- was beginning to become slightly less clean and neat then before. Bushhunter had never been much of a cat to 'clean herself up' so to speak, she had much preferred doing what her name suggested...hunting. Normally she would be looking down on doing something like this, just relaxing and laying around, but then again, the warrior was unpredictable. Some might even say dangerous.
And yet, the she cat wasn't that dangerous. Recently she had befriended a cat who used to be her enemy, a cat who had helped her clean herself up quite nicely, and a cat that Bushhunter was beginning to think of as a real friend. However much she had disapproved of Almondpelt before, she was now approving of her very much. Although one thing she couldn't understand was how the she cat could stand the thought of having a tom for a mate...Bushhunter herself seemed to prefer she cats, though for whatever reason she was quite unsure.
And yet Almondpelt hadn't looked down on that, either. In Bushhunter's opinion, the she cat-- though still prissy and stuck up, when you first looked at her-- was a sweet one. At least she hadn't made fun of the she cat's way of thinking. Bushhunter, on the other paw? Well, she had definitely not been as nice as she could have been about Almondpelt wanting a tom for a mate. And kits, too...though the she cat was aware the whining, fussing, complaining bundles of fluff were the futures of ThunderClan-- and all the Clans, for that matter-- that didn't mean she had to like them. She was looked down upon because of this opinion, for after all...who had heard of a she cat who didn't want kits? Didn't every she cat want kits? Well, Bushhunter was different.
And she most definitely did not want kits.

She padded closer closer to the tom, a smile on her face. "Cmere lil bro." she purred, resting her head on the smaller cats head. No matter how many petty 'fights' they got in, or how busy they got she had always liked spending time with her brother. She felt scared when they had lost touch for awhile, for his safety. She didn't know what she would've done if he had passed in the battle against Ratnight. "Don't apologize, I'm here to blame here. I'm just glad you seem all and in one piece, out of trouble I hope?" she chuckled. After the era had ended the only thing that left a reminder was the scar on her chest from the battle, but her fur was thick and long and would soon cover the mark up in no time. She was glad to see him, she didn't have any other siblings so it felt nice to have a close bond with her brother. "I've been doing fine, I have a mate now so all is well, what about you? Hows training going? I want you to catch me up on these past moons." She held a smile still, wanting to make up for the moons she had missed.
