A wave of relief washed over him as Thanos welcomed him into his arms, though he wasn't sure if it was relief, or something else. It could've been joy as well, or it could have been anything, though how could it be joy if he'd never felt anything like this before? It was something much deeper than that...
He wondered if Thanos had anticipated this, through the way he acted beforehand... He could've been waiting for longer than Ian thought, though if he was, at least he'd finally have what he wanted. What they both wanted.
He rested a hand on Thanos' cheek, stroking his thumb over the soft skin. Warmer than he'd ever imagined. He didn't want to pull away, just yet at least. Tilting his head slightly, he sighed contentedly into the kiss.
