Pearlkit heard her mother call for her and as quietly as she could, she padded towards her. Her paws were very light as they touched the ground and her crystal hues were locked on Moondancer. Only once did they waver as Specklekit came crashing past her, beating her to her mother. This got Pearlkit up and trotting towards her mother, otherwise, nothing else seemed to spark in the she-kit. The alabaster she-kit hated being mute. She hated being different, she hated only being able to react in body language. Sometimes she got it wrong and the other cats took it the wrong way and she couldn't do anything to stop them from thinking otherwise. Other times she accidentally uses her body language to react horribly to the situation. It made her cautious. This was why she stood almost stone-like sometimes, how she tries to play with her hues to master reflecting her emotions through them. She was still young though, she had time to learn how to express herself better. As the young she-kit came up to her mother, she settled herself down opposite from her siblings. She liked watching them, studying them more like. It was just in her nature. Of course she'd jump in and play every once in a while, but they had to spark that naive behavior in her.
