Bouncing in her pawsteps, Tinypaw was more excited than she'd been in quite a long time. "I can't wait to see the river!" She exclaimed, having to take many more steps to keep up with Dappleblossom due to her shortened limbs. She was getting a bit tired, but her excitement kept her going. "I'm soo excited," she meowed, her ears swivelling in different directions to catch every sound, determined to soak up this wonderful experience as much she could to remember it forever. Suddenly, her nose caught on to the scent of what smelled like a mouse. Her eyes widened and smiled broadly. "I smell something!" She shout-whispered to her new mentor. "I don't know what it is; but it smells good." Tinypaw looked up at Dappleblossom for further instructions; particularly whether or not to go after it.

Dappleblossom strolled in the territory and watched her apprentice with kind eyes, smiling at her apprentice's enthusiasm. It made the dappled molly wonder how she was able to contain all this excitement for so many moons. She couldn't imagine how her parents were able to keep her out of trouble. When she mentioned the river, her tail twitched, however she kept her glowing smile plastered on her face, though her steps were more slow and hesitant. Avoiding the river was inevitable, though she knew her apprentice had no interest learning to swim as of that moment. She took a sniff and looked over to the direction the smell of the river was. It smelled of abundance of fish and the wetness of the water. The fish smell excited her. The water smell did not. She swiveled her attention back to her apprentice as she hears her exclaim of a scent she found. Dappleblossom lifted her nose and sniffed around the air. She smelled prey. Dappleblossom looked down at Tinypaw, who was awaiting instructions. "Well, what are you waiting for?" she purred, "Hunt down the scent. But mind the noise you make. Even the faintest of sounds can spook off prey."
