A bright gaze passed across Goosepaw's face as she entered the gathering area. The young she-cat was surprised at the amount of cats there were to be seen. Though she was Riverclan Goosepaw had already decided she was try to talk to as many cats as she could.Blackgaze would hopefully be proud of her. He wasn't around too much because of his duty as deputy but Goosepaw thought she understood. At least Creekpaw and Troutpaw will know...
This being Goosepaw's second most gathering the apprentice was only slightly knowing a few cats of other clans. She remembered the menacing face of a tom named Ravenpaw and the more shy face of a she-cat named Lilacpaw. Goosepaw glanced at the full moon then her mentor sitting beneath the large rock. She wondered how Blackgaze managed to not open his mouth and gossip with the other cats. Certainly the other deputies always had something to share?
Goosepaw started to weave through the crowd of cats heart racing as a Shadowclan warriro rushed by his pelt brushing hers. This place is too small for so many cats! The young cat was certainly excited but had a twinge of fear in the pit of her heart. She didn't want anything bad to happen and from what Goosepaw had heard that the leaders would sometimes yowl at each other just about something strange like prey.
