Geyserpaw could now see that Galepaw was tiring out, and he smiled softly to himself, pleased by this. He put on an extra burst of speed, felling as thoug he was flying across the ground. He hurtled past cats, who now looked like blurs of brown, ginger, white, black and several other color to mixed up for him to name. He rather enjoyed the feeling of running at top speed, gaining fast on his sister, who seemed to be getting slower and slower every heartbeat. Or was he just going faster? He wasn't sure, but he didn't care.

Tawnypaw was grateful for Ratpaw's presence there, and felt a bit better, although every time she heard something spoken by the leaders, she lowered her head a bit before raising it again, trying to imitate Ratpaw's position as best she could. She hated not being able to do things as good as others, so she was determined to do it exactly as he was doing, although she looked tenser and more uncomfortable than he did, but she didn't realize that. "Yeah, it is." she could hear a couple of apprentices running abut yowling and gave a disapproving shake of her head, her amber hues glinting with a bit of curiosity that contradicted how she felt about what those apprentices were doing. "I wish I'd stayed in camp." she muttered, just loud enough that only Ratpaw could hear her.

"I thought the Gathering would be more fun." He grumbled. "Why does every cat have to come just to see how the clans are doing? I don't know why we even care? We fight with the clans half the time anyway." He grumbled. He thought this would be more fun, he thought this was a time for other cats to talk to one another instead of listening to the leaders drone on about the clans. "Maybe it's because we don't know any other cat here." He knew a few of his clanmates but it looked like most cats were talking to cats from other clans. He sighed and twitched his ears with boredom. "Maybe we could go exploring. Since most cats are here instead of their territory." He joked.
