"I hadn't even thought of it that way." She admitted, flexing her claws into the soft soil rapidly. Badgerbite was thoroughly impressed by this apprentice so far, although questions like this one usually had more than one answer. I was something she had always asked her apprentices. It gave her a bit more perspective on Ratpaw's personality, and while some apprentices, even warriors, would have said that being intimidating and puffing up was the best thing to do, but this small cat said speed was. Potential, but definitely needs training. Badgerbite backed up a few paces from Ratpaw, her tail perked up behind her. Parting her jaws, the older cat scented the air for a brief moment, "Keep your claws sheathed! I'm going to pounce at you, don't worry about getting any moves correct, just go with your instinct." In almost an instant, the large molly was ducked down into an offensive crouch, her yellow orbs burning into the apprentices pelt and muscles rippling as she launched herself at Ratpaw, claws sheathed of course. She wasn't putting all her force into her jump, as she didn't want to injure her apprentice during their first training session, but she wasn't going to sugar coat it either. If she wanted a legitimate reaction, not some half-hearted kittypet swat, she would need to invoke real panic and adrenaline in the young cat.

(its fine )
Ratpaws smiled a bit a Badgerbites comment, he thought he was doing pretty well. Ratpaw sheath his paws and watched his mentor carefully, his eyes widen at the muscles underneath her pelt. He felt really nervous but forced the thoughts away, worrying about every little thing was going to get him killed in battle. He would do as his mentor said and just follow his instincts. He fur began to bristle as his mentor jumped at him, before he could even think he ran under his mentor as fast as he could. As he slide under her he lost control of his footing and slid onto the ground. He quickly gathered himself and stood, looking to see what her next move would be.
