As she jumped to her paws and began jumping around, almost with the personality of a different kit. He looked at her with a confused glanced, his eyebrow cocked up as if to ask, Where did this energy come from? Then he lowered his gaze to hers and said. "Play? Playing is for kits." He said slyly, and with a smirk. "I'm an apprentice so I don't have time to play." Then leaning in close to her he reached out his paw and poked her gently in the chest. "So TAG!" He said with sudden excitement pulling away his paw and darting around the clearing laughing as he went.
Owlkit grinned. "Storkpaw, huh? Nice to meet you too," She mewed with a friendly grin. She was used to cats looking at her strangely when she began to behave so energetically...it was almost as though she was a mixed up character, with two personalities instead of one, and she liked it that way. She liked to keep other cats guessing about what she was going to do next...it proved entertaining to see their reactions when she either appeared to be calm and then suddenly began bouncing around as though she had ants in her pelt, or to be tearing around the clearing and then suddenly sink down and look thoughtful. Her expression seemed to fade slightly and one of confusion came over her face as he spoke, slyly and with that smirk. She was getting ready to start talking very quickly about almost anything, which was a strange habit that she had when she got upset, until he tagged her and darted around the clearing. Her expression went back to it's original state, and she tore off after him. Owlkit was fairly fast for her age...she wasn't slow, at least. She bounded in long leaps, her small legs carrying her farther than she had thought they were able to, as she tried to catch up with Storkpaw. Her expression was determined...she seemed to turn almost every game into a competition, although she didn't mind too much if she won or lost.
