She wasn't that angry with her young friend. Larkkit couldn't have known about the dog and the twoleg... but she should have known that it was just too risky. For both of them being so young, anyways. In a few moons, or at least by the time Larkkit was an apprentice, Heartpaw would be much older. And Larkkit hopefully wouldn't freeze up if this happened again. "C'mon." Heartpaw gently steered her friend in the right direction, back towards the Camp, keeping Larkkit beside her as they headed back. Just to be absolutely, positively sure.

Larkkit looked up at her companion with wide eyes. Her body felt stiff, but as she was guided away, she didn't complain. Right now, Larkkit wanted to curl up in her nest with her siblings and her mother and just sleep the day away. She didn't want to think about what just happened again and she wasn't sure she wanted to venture out anymore. No one could blame her for that, right? Slowly and cautiously, Larkkit followed Heartpaw back towards the camp. Deep down she knew she was thankful for having a good friend like her and hoped nothing between them ever changed as they grew older.
