Onyx was just ahead, so naturally Ajax fell behind, keeping quiet until spoken too. Besides it was his job to replace his previous henchmen and do with onyx's bidding as the knight. Which nobody got accepted for him and onyx. But one day
They would all know. They would all fear the names onyx and Ajax. He smiled at that. He than took a few long strides os he was just next to onyx in case he didn't feel he wanted the company. So he was prepared to slink back behind him. Just in case. As hey padded along in the dead silence Ajax once again got caught up with his mind. Oh onyx. I feel so bad I wasn't there for the battle. I mean. I was but not as apparent as I wanted to be. That stupid auroraflame. Who does she ink she is? Stepping in on my tail huh? he though wih frustration. He learned quickly he hated the deputy with a flaming passion and would use it agasint her in the future.

Onyx looked back, seeing he was falling behind. When they walked out here, is gaze was strong, and he was slightly frustrated with Ajax, for not being by his side in battle, but he knew he couldn't be mad long. As he looked back, his gaze softened as he heard the grunt from him, and he turned and sat, waiting for him. "Something bugging you, Ajax?" he asked. Yes, it was true, him and Ajax had grown a strong bond, and he wouldn't trust anyone like he trusted Ajax. Hell if he died he would tell Ajax to make sure his son became king, just like he did. His empathic abilities offered the ability to sense emotions and metal states, and Ajax had a sort of, appoligetic, regretfullness, and he could only guess it was derived from the battle incident. Oh, poor Ajax. he thought, his gaze softening more. He wondered if he took the trust Ajax had for granted. He gave a sigh and padded to the tom. "So, Ajax. About the battle, I hope you know I feel no anger to you. To be honest, you did your job well." he said, and managed a smile to the tom. "We all have our moments when things don't go as planned, it happens. It's life." he said calmly, letting his blue hues look directly into the tom's before him.
