"Thank you." Bella mewed, she was more than happy to make her mentor feel proud of himself, she would hate herself simply deceiving him, after all, he was the deputy and whenever it came to learning a new move, he explained it very well.

The calico's yellow eyes opened at the question, but she kind of knew how to attack for now. "Uh... Defensive?" She asked, she would actually need to learn both either way, so, if she started with defensive moves, she'd end up learning attacking moves and yaddi-yadda, she never really thought that there were other sorts of moves, nor did she know if some were strictly prohibited, she also didn't know their beliefs, but she was more than sure that he would tell her and show her everything he had to so that she would be able to join ShadowClan, after all, this was one of her motives, the other was the deputy himself.
Goldeneye smiled, blushing a bit as the she-cat pressed against him, though he ignored it, just happy that the she-cat was there, and she was happy. He didn't know what he would do if Bella wasn't happy, but he didn't want to think about it, for now, he would rather teach Bella, as, honestly, he was happy to be helping the she-cat.

Upon hearing she wanted to do a defensive move, Goldeneye nodded. "If you are in a battle in which your attacker is relentless, and they keep attacking you, you're going to need someway to defend." He started off, smiling awkwardly. "One of the best ways to get out of the way to roll out of the way." He said, "I can't really show you this one, since I don't have an attacker, but to do this, you roll away from your enemy, then spring up and attack them," he explained. It was confusing to explain, and he hated that part, as it always made apprentices turn their heads in confusion. He didn't want to have to explain it, but that was sometimes how things went, "Y-You want to try?" He stammered, knowing that he did a bad job explaining this move, the deputy just hoping that Bella understood.
