"They probably caught you off guard," he figured, "Even the best warrior can be defeated when caught off guard," he assumed, shrugging. "We'll have to patch that up at least," he said, looking at the cut, "Better safe than sorry," he shrugged, before nodding, "It's ready," he confirmed, golden and green eyes looking at Bella warmly. "You first," he said, parting the branches with his paws, revealing the reasonably sized nest, waiting to Bella to go in, smiling the whole time.
