Dark, river-coloured eyes drifted across the ground, seeking any movement. Nothing. The warrior, Sleekpetal, prowled along the territory, looking for somewhere to just relax. He slid his tail across the ground before laying in some shade. His frame was small, and feminine, yet it didn't bother him none. Although it brought a few taunts here and there, Sleekpetal just kept his head high, refusing to show weakness. "I am a male, fair and square," He always told himself, in a confident tone. It shouldn't matter if he was biologically female!
The tom huffed and closed his eyes, curling into a ball. His tail flicked, covering his nose. A small breeze ruffled his fur, humming within his black-tipped ears. I'm a male, fair and square.
His paws kneaded the ground, and no matter how long he kept still, he was unable to fall asleep.
The grey tom sat up with a grumble. "Great," He snorted, "Just when I get to relax, I'm still as energized as a kit!" Sleekpetal twitched, feeling the urge to just trot around for a while until he felt tired. No point in that. Narrowing his eyes, the tom just gave up and began to look around, bored.
