Obsidian's eyes glittered with humor. She could take a flirt or two, what was the harm? She knew he'd broken another she-cat who's name was... Phantom. She enjoyed the warmth of the sun on her black fur, purring softly. She snorted at his remark. "I'm not in the market for a mate, you could say." Obsidian replied, semi-vague as she smirked. She knew what he was trying to do, but how devoted to it was he?

Horseradish nodded, his eyes glittering with understanding. “Right. And neither am I. I'm out for cats who can have my back. Cats I can trust not to kill me if I do something stupid. Y'know?” the dappled tomcat remarked, although not all of what he was saying was truthful. Fluffing out his thick glossy pelt as a shower of raindrops fell of the leaves overhead and landed on him. It wasn't raining, they were just leftover from last storm, still not dried up by the sun yet. The forest floor was still littered with puddles and the camp smell of wet moss.
