Brambleflash nodded as a chuckle started up. "I'm fine. It just gave me a little fright. I never thought I would ever be scared when I was inside a tree." replied Brambleflash with a chuckle. The tom gave his chest fur a few licks as he began to purr. Brambleflash brushed off the dust that clung to his fur, causing it to spike up.

I still trust him. He didn't mean to scare me like that. I can tell that he's a great cat. Even a little bit cute for my liking.

The Windclan tom looked at cavemist. "What do you want to do now? Head back to camp or just go for a walk for a bit?" asked Brambleflash, his breathing going back to normal as the shock had lifted off his shoulders. Brambleflash flicked his tail, purring for a reason he didn't quite know was. "We could continue hunting, but only if you want to. I'm a bit tired though, but whatever you want is what we'll do." He meowed.

Cavemist nodded, his eyes flickering with sympathy, then he shook it away, not one for dwelling on less pleasant thoughts. Easily, either of them could've died, but it didn't matter, they were both fine. Shaking himself, he licked one forepaw, somewhat embarrassed. He liked Brambleflash, and suddenly felt awkward at the realization, so he avoided looking at the other tom.

I guess I've always had an odd feeling for him, but I don't know.... What if he's not like me? What if he likes mollies? What if he only sees me as a friend?
Oh— stop it Cavemist! No more "what ifs", just focus!

“I'm tired too. Let's go back to camp, just slowly,” the wispy furred gray warrior said, his tail curling with amusement, his worries and embarrassment forgotten. “Do you like toms?” he burst out randomly, voicing his thoughts. Suddenly Cavemist realized that he'd said it and shook his head. Mouse dung! Me and my big mouth, I can never keep it shut, huh? Cavemist scolded himself, feeling his ears go red with embarrassment as he padded on, a fewsteos ahead of Brambleflash so his face was hidden from view.
