Owlspark hurriedly nodded, a nervous smile on his face. It warmed him that Firesparks was concerned, even though there was definitely nothing wrong. "Yes, everything fine, I just..." he trailed off and took a breath, trying to calm his heart that seemed determined to burst from his chest. "Well, I know we haven't known each other like this for a long time, and that this is very sudden, but," the tom paused yet again, his nervous gaze trained on the molly. He wondered if she had any clue as of yet to what he was about to say, figuring she probably would. "But I do know that my feelings have grown quickly over that time. I love you, Firesparks." Despite his nerves, his voice was confident as he made his confession; he was sure of his feelings, just not of the molly's yet. So, he would wait there for her reaction before he continued.

'He said it...' was all she could think for the next few moments. She was shocked he had actually said what she had wanted him to say. Shocked as well as happy. After what felt like forever, Firesparks got up and nuzzled Owlspark, purring her affection to the tom. "I love you too," was all she said as she purred. The only thing that could make the she-cat happier was seeing Alderscreech safely home, but she knew that wouldn't happen for a bit. After all, this surprise was almost better than seeing her mentor and close friend back in Windclan again.
