A smile tugged at the corners of the tom's lips, and he shook his head just the tiniest bit. "It's a surprise - but I'll tell you it's somewhere special." His eyes sparkled as he watched Lotusheart moving around, practically hovering around him as though she were a bird. The anxiety from before disappeared... he had forgotten that this wasn't an awkward encounter at all, she was his best friend after all - and Jasperpelt very much liked spending time with her. Sometimes it felt as though he were playing with a kit - though Jasperpelt didn't mind it in the slightest. Honestly? He really liked kits, but sometimes it was hard to know what was acceptable to do with them and what wasn't. Depending on the mother, and the kits themselves - Jasperpelt had had good experiences with them in the past. "Besides, if I told you I
wouldn't get to see you acting like one of your kits." He purred, yellow hues twinkling. There. If he could just be... playful, more open, then the anxiety went away. It disappeared along with his nervous stammer - though staying that way was harder then it seemed.

Lotusheart couldn't stop her tongue from sticking out at him before she turned her head in the other direction to hide his mischief. "I am not acting like one of my kits! I am a very mature feline," she replied, dramatically. Her voice sounded hurt momentarily, though half-way through it, she couldn't keep the act up and turned her head back towards the ebony warrior. Her green orbs glowed. She was happy she could get the normally skittish warrior out of his comfort zone. It made her feel like she accomplished something. That something being getting someone to open up to other cats easier. Now, Lotusheart just assumed it was easier for Jasperpelt to open up towards others, though she somewhat knew just from using her motherly instincts. After saying that, she was fairly content and continued to pad alongside him. She was anxious to be there already, feeling the need to run ahead and see for herself, but held it back because she knew it would be in vain.
