You eat fish, so what’s so bad about toads? Also, I should point out that we eat frogs, toads are much bitter in taste. I suggest you know a bit about Shadowclan before you try to insult it, idiot.” Newtpaw then got close to the older apprentice, “And don’t think I won’t teach you another lesson if I see you around me or Lionpaw.” The she-cat backed up a few steps, looking to her spot under the tree where Lionpaw was. “Now then, will you leave us alone now? I have much better things to be doing than hanging around rotten crowfood that accidentally got dragged into camp.” Newtpaw spat, her whiskers twitching.
Lionpaw watched the whole ordeal with wide eyes, and was surprised when Newtpaw suddenly shot to her paws, shoving the bully and even scratching his face. He didn't interfere with any of it and stayed where he was, albiet sitting up and wrapping his tail around himself, resting it on his paws. This was not his fight, and he knew it; he felt proud of his friend. She was standing up for herself and showing Lobsterpaw that she wasn't a weak, short-legged apprentice. When she joined him again and finished telling the RiverClan apprentice off, he felt a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "That," he began, "was awesome, Newt-Newt!"
