"Gotcha!" Thistlepaw meowed as he pounced in Skypaw's direction with sheathed claws. It felt good to be out here practicing battle moves. His mentor Ambercloud was still healing in the medicine den after her adder bite, and Thistlepaw had felt useless just sitting around camp not doing any warrior training. Not that this really counted as training. There was no mentor close by after all. But either way, it was a welcome distraction from his constant worries.
