The golden dusted tom sniffed around for his brother, Indigo, his father and other brother, Gorse and Jackdaw, padding right next to him. The young tom knew that it was about that time for the three siblings to tousle, after all, his father ordered them to do it every day. He didn't mind it, after all it helped him shape up and become stronger. What he didn't like, however, was the fact that he had to hunt down his littermates almost everytime the time came for them to
test their strengths. The young kit grinned the moment he realized he found the other tom, his greenish blue optics flickered with excitement.
"Found you." he muttered, his tail lashed back and fourth as he readied himself for a pounce. Butterbean knew he was a large tom, slightly larger than one should be, but that didn't stop him from squashing his littermates whenever he wished.
"Indigo!" he screeched as he leaped up into the air and landed abruptly onto his brother, laughing loudly.
"What are you doing? You know it's time for us to fight." he stated as he looked at his brother beneath him. The white, gold dusted tom didn't know what to think of his littermate, he seemed to be the exact opposite of himself and Jackdaw, he took pride in different things, and believed in different things, often times he didn't even want to play fight with them! How absurd! After a few seconds of thinking to himself the young tom turned his gold muzzle to his father and perked his ears, a grin plastered on his face.
"Dad, dad, can me and Indigo go first today? Please pleas please?" he pleaded, his ears folded back and his lip quivered, trying his best to seem pitiful. Butterbean loved play fighting with his siblings, and he loved being praised by his father, and would do quite a bit to make sure he got praised. Being praised by his father felt amazing, it made him feel special, but it didn't mean he would harm his brothers...a lot. The tom knew that Indigo didn't like it here, and he knew that his brother wasn't the strongest, he felt like he was helping whenever they played together, he wanted his brother to get stronger so that he wouldn't get hurt, in all honesty his main concern was his family's safety, and if it meant he had to play rough to keep them safe and strong, then he would do it.
