It wasn't any cats proving they were worthy to be in her presence. This made Mistletoe slightly huffed, but as she crouched to the ground, stalking forward. Suddenly, like a comet, she burst up, her form sleek and fast. She felt the wind coursing through her slender pelt. And, boy! Did that rabbit run! It ran for its life after noticing she was after it! Silently, she cursed at herself for catching it's attention, but she followed along it, weaving her way around to turn its direction. Now, it was heading for Breezefeather. He was suppose to catch it...but, maybe she could prove herself to him. Maybe, if she ran fast enough, she would be able to catch it and prove that she was a windclanner as every other cat were. Just, maybe. Fueled on this thought, she picked up her speed, and jumped a forceful one, hoping to land on the rabbit. But, the rabbit seemed smart. It steered out the way, and instead she felt herself bump heavily into something, tumbling around with this entangled other before they came to a stop. She felt groggy from the exercise, and she lifted her head up, placing her paws firmly on the other's chest. Breathing heavily, and slightly shakened, she looked down to see...Breezefeather. Her eyes blinked for a moment. Great! She clenched her teeth. She knew she lost the rabbit. So, she looked down at the tom, leaning her heads towards him. "Looks like we lost the rabbit. Though it seems I caught myself a tom," she purred, lightly touching her nose to his for a moment, before leaping off him in a swift motion. Yet, she seemed cool on the outside, but truly she was frustrated for losing that edible meal for the clan.
Breezefeather snarled and crouched low. "Why do you always have to prove yourself?" He shook his head not wanting to think about her comment nor the fact that when they touched noses he felt as if he knew her a bit better. Sighing he shook his head again, "You won't have to prove you to me," he said and leaned forward touching noses with her again. "The clan must be feed. It's a valuable rule for all of us." He sat up, and said. "You're lucky. Your fur blends in with the moor, rather than mine. I didn't see you there, so I guess it's partly my fault." The silver tom stood up finally stretching his legs from the pain of being crouched down that long. He felt stiff. He hadn't had an chance to really run yet and then he bowed his head tail lashing with excitement. "Race you to the next rabbit hole," was all he meowed before he was away, enjoying the breeze in his pelt and his paws stretching over the ground, bowing down his spine he pushed his paws even faster.
