Starkit's gaze wandered over to Mintkit, and she smiled at her. "Hey Minty~!" She purred happily, some of her irritation from earlier melting away. "Have you met Lynxkit and Palekit yet?" She gestured towards the two, smiling happily now that she had something to distract her from her angry thoughts. The vitiligo-spotted kit flicked her ears a little as a small twig hit her on the head gently, which had been shaken loose by the winds outside. Starkit's bright eyes gleamed happily, as she looked back and forth from Mintkit to Lynxkit and Palekit. Would they like each other? She really hoped so; her mother told her it was hard to be friends with cats that hated each other. The thought of her mother made her smile drop a little. The kitten really didn't like her mother... she didn't hate her, per se, but she wished that Birchfur was a little less... mean. That she would spend time with them rather than look at them like they were pieces of scum, things that ruined her life. Starkit caught onto it; her siblings may not have, but Starkit knew how her mother thought.

The small tabby and bobtail had two different facial expressions, one happy one extremely nervous. Lynxkit sat, letting Palekit copy her movements so he'd have something to do rather than fidget awkwardly. "Nice to meet you!" Lynxkit purred. The young tom swallowed. "Y-Yeah, s-same..." he mewed softly. He hoped Mintkit liked him, despite being so shy. Lynxkit liked her already, because Lynxkit. (The perfect reasoning). Lynxkit hummed softly, glad Starkit's mother wasn't around. She was glad they were even aloud to be friends! Let alone Palekit, unable to stand up for himself. She grinned, her tail swept around her paws and her ears pricked. Her fur was smoothed down and her whiskers twitched with excitement. New kit met, meant possible new friend.

"I have not." Mintkit replied, the words leaving her tongue smoothly. She lowered her head to deliver a few licks to her short white fur, before turning a piercing blue gaze onto the two kits. She looked them over, as if assessing them. Mintkit loved meeting new cats, dont get her wrong. But some cats were loud. And bossy. And arrogant. And... Mintkit didnt like that. The she-cat didnt think anything special of herself, even if she was the daughter of the leader of ThunderClan. It couldnt matter any less. It was just a title. Mintkit herself was still a kit. And soon she would become an apprentice. And then a warrior. But all of those were titles. Mintkit was going to become someone great one day, but she was undoubtedly going to set her own path about it.
"Its nice to meet both of you as well." Mintkit mused, still raking her gaze over the two kits. Palekit seemed okay. A bit shy, but he was quiet for the most part. Mintkit did want to get him into a more talkative phase, she'd work on that, though. Still, he was quiet, and didnt look arrogant. Someone she could be friends with. Lynxkit seemed alright, too. Maybe a bit energetic, Mintkit noted, looking the she-cat up and down, but Mintkit could probably learn to keep up with her. She wasnt one for first impressions, after all. The young she-cat let her eyes linger on both of them before turning to Starkit, giving a tilt of her head and a flick of her ears, a questioning look on her face. "So, what are you three currently discussing?" She prompted, sitting down. She often used big words- Something she undoubtedly picked up from Roarclaw. For a kit her age, Mintkit was very smart -- This mostly due to the fact that Honeyfur and Roarclaw were the the two out of her aunts and uncles that came to watch the kits more often. And good for that, too. Had Foxthorn been tasked with kitsitting them alone? Mintkit doubted that would end pretty. Her uncle was... And odd one, to say the least.
