Echopaw's (he got promoted ) ears perked in interest when he heard Willowkit called his name. Immediately, he jumped to his paws and scanned the clearing with his layered blue eyes. When he spotted the other kit, he trotted over, tail high in happiness. The new apprentice couldn't wait to tell the other kit all about his experience of being a new apprentice. He was still yet to explore the territory, but it was otherwise fun to know he was no longer a kit. "Hi Willowkit." He needed simply as he neared his friend.

Willowkit was on her toes with excitement. "Look at this rabbit leg! Guess where it came from," she trilled. The grey-brown kitten bounced up and down for a moment before setting the rabbit leg down. Her green eyes were wide with excitement.
