Since Quailheart signaled her approval, the WindClan warrior decided to go along with it. Immediately, she bounded forwards, as silently as the ground let her be. A slight wind blew; hopefully it would not carry her scent and scare away the prey. That would be a shame.
Breezycloud inched closer. There finally came a point where the rabbit noticed her presence and hopped off on its stubby brown legs, racing across the grass in a frenzied manner. The feline was faster, however, and managed to dig her claws into the prey's flank and deliver a killing bite to its neck. It wasn't a very clean kill; traces of blood lined the ground and her claws, but the rabbit was dead.
I suppose it's a good catch, she thought. Turning around, Breezycloud faced her three-legged friend. "How'd I do?"
