Stoneheart followed her without a question. He would follow her anywhere, even into dangerous waters. She was his everything, she was what made him want to live, what made him hang on when things got rough. He knew she would always be there for him, as he would be for her. Stoneheart didn't know why his heart beat faster around her or why he felt so strongly for Crowsong, but he did, he loved every inch of her, every side of her, everything that made her, well, her. Each night as he fell asleep, he thought of her and dreamt of her, every time her woke up, she was the first thing on his mind.
"Would you rather hunt or just walk around?" The silver tom asked, moving close enough to Crowsong that he could feel her fur against his. This was something he looked forward to, being alone with his mate and telling her his deepest thoughts, things he would never tell anyone. In a way, she was like his therapist, calming him down, making him feel better. Crowsong had changed him, in such a way he could have never became on his own. He undoubtedly loved her.
