Tord blinked, still tensed up. “No!” He objected quickly, despite it kind of being the truth. “I’m fine,” he added, trying to laugh it off. “The idea of meeting someone’s parents is just a little unnerving, that’s all,” he said awkwardly, smiling. “I’m fine, don’t doubt that,” he said warmly, trying to smile all the fear away.
