This was tearing them up inside and Silvermask hadn't had a clue how awful this might have been for them. "Sure, we RiverClan cats enjoy the water. We base our entire lives around it. All the same, playing in water isn't what makes us RiverClan cats. It's in here what matters." The queen touched her tail-tip to her chest, gesturing towards her heart. In response to Brackenpaw's last statement, Silvermask bit her lip. She probably would have been upset if one of her peers had that about her, but Brackenpaw was in a vulnerable place right now and despite knowing Silvermask for a little while, they didn't quite know her as well as an older cat might have. "I can't relate to what you're going through, Brackenpaw. I'm a RiverClan cat by blood and by heart. I love to swim and I'm quite good at fishing. I care for my Clan in every way that I can. Even after all of that, I still don't fit in perfectly." The silver she-cat's thoughts drifted towards her memories of finding out she would never be able to have kits of her own. From then on, she adopted and cared for kits no matter what their background. Though many cats understood all of this, some cats weren't as understanding. "Fitting in is not what matters. It's where your heart belongs that matters."

Brackenpaw let a faint smile slip onto their face and they turned their soft green gaze back over to where the older molly was. Why were they arguing with her. She was obviously older and therefore knew more than them, right. Even if Brackenpaw didn't agree with her, there was no use in arguing,"I-I guess youre right Silvermask... Though, i wouldn't call myself courageous..." they laughed, half-heartedly trying to lighten the mood. "My heart for now and forever belongs to RiverClan," They mewed determinedly before a question came into their mind,"But, how do you not fit in Silvermask? You like water, love RiverClan, are beautiful, and... Don't fit in?" They tilted their head in confusion, studying the she-cat's gaze for any possible clues.
