ThornFur had scanned around the camp with his intense blue eyes, and spotted a tom cat looking lost in his own thoughts. ThornFur decided to make his way to the tom beneath the blossoming tree after adjusting his eyes to the intense sun rays that struck down in patches. ThornFur continued on his walk to the dazed tom cat that seemed lonely, but not knowing his blue eyes appeared more frightening than ever.
Jaypaw scuffed his paws silently against the ground, trying to block out everything around him. Suddenly, the sound of pawsteps could be heard approaching, and his ears pricked erect as he jumped slightly at the sound. Glancing around, his gaze landed upon a dark-pelted cat making his way towards him. Feeling slight perturbance at the cat's sudden arrival, the tom forced his fur to lie flat. He was a generally happy and positive cat, but social interactions made him freeze up, causing his words and emotions to come out as rather flat. Swallowing hard, he forced himself to dip his head towards his fellow warrior, trying to appear sociable. "Hello," he greeted, fighting back the urge to move backwards, into the shadows, melting into the dark so that no one would see him. Glancing at the warrior, he recognized him as another tom that he had been on patrols with a couple times. "I haven't talked to you in a while Thorn... Thorn..." He trailed off, seemingly unable to remember the tom's name. With his anxious, racing mind, it wasn't really such a surprise, but he still felt slightly rude.
