Running like this made him appreciate his short pelt, his long legs, the gentle feeling of rough wind coursing through his pelt. He met her reckless speed, momentarily bulldozing into relaxing cats, having to profusely apologize before he was on his best friend’s tail again. Another thing he appreciated? The moors. Less trees gave him an easier motive to freely move about, locking eyes on his target. He could feel his paws hit against the ground. When Mothpaw slowed her pace, he continued to run at full speed, not expecting her to run full blast again - the next thing he knew, he was trying to skid to a halt, only for it to backfire on him, and he ended up rolling into a ball until he landed roughly on her back. His face scrunched up into a taste of pain, and he had groaned. “Starclan, Mothpaw!” He called out, loudly. “I believe I’m seeing...stars.” Maybe he was. Something certainly was rotating about his dizzy head.

Mothpaw's mind was focused on one thing and only one thing. The thrill of the chase. She heard the sound of her paws hitting the ground and she felt the wind whisking beneath her heavy pelt. WindClan was not misnamed, they ran like the wind, and Mothpaw though not biologically WindClan, was no exception. Despite her size and level of training Mothpaw could run quite fast. Very fast, and she loved to run. It gave her a sense of clarity that she needed, even if her main focus was too stay away from Lynxpaw that could never take the fun away from running. So absorbed in her happiness Mothpaw wasn't watching out, but when Lynxpaw tumbled into her she realized she should have been. She collapsed, and then wiggled out from underneath him. "Seriously-" Her voice was cut off when her best friend spoke. She cocked her head to one side and looked at him funny before realizing he wasn't faking it. "Are you sure?" She asked. She padded closer to him and nudged him with her nose. Her voice filled with concern she asked, "Are you alright?"
