Mudnose had been living for over 40 moons and every single one of them he had spent playing. So, for a cat his age, it was surprisingly hard to catch him off guard or win against him. Oh, unless you're a kit. So Mudnose immediately jumped up and didn't even catch it, he just batted it back before landing back on his feet.
