Aster watched the branch fly from behind a tree. Raising an eyebrow, a slight frown on her lips, she went towards the tree and looked. Nothing. “What...” she looked from side to side, wildly searching for where whoever or whatever had run off to. Soon though, she heard the warning call of birds and followed the sound. Aster came to the area and saw the other girl. “Were you the one messing with me?” She glared at her darkly.

Silv tensed as the girl emerged from the trees nearby. Her feet against the ground, she prepared her muscles to run if needed. Silv had no idea who she was, and had no idea wether she could trust her or not.
“No.” She responded flatly, trying to keep a straight face. If she pretended long enough, she might not get in trouble. “What would make you think that?”
Placing one hand behind her back, she clenched her fist in a tight ball of confusion. What would she do?
What would the girl do? What if the girl knew she was lying? The questions flew around her head in a spiraling mess.
