I mean leafbare is a beautiful time too . plus It gives us a break from this murderous heat. " she meowed and shook her head at the thought of it . All though she does have more fur then most cats so it does kinda make it worse but it's also useful.
The she cat yawned and licked her upper lip then looked around the area with her nose twitching almost like a rabbits . She saw others talking and sharing tongues while apprentice play fought . She looked for Ambercloud which she went on a hunting patrol with once but hurt her leg while trying to climb a tree it's fine now still a bit painful when she puts her weight on it like now but she can handle it . Her right leg started to hover off of the ground and twitched a bit when she looked back in front she noticed it and placed it down wincing tiny bit before looking back at stormstrike. She was more comfortable around Ambercloud then most even if it was the first time the two She cats met ambercloud was kind to her and she liked that . This tom seemed ok too " so ...looking forward to the next gathering ? I am! " She meowed happily . She hasn't been to one yet . But she will make sure to go to the upcoming one.

The grey tom cat nodded his agreement. He wouldn’t want to be sad. That would be….well, sad. And considering the current tensions, the warrior was especially pleased that he was doing okay. If he could be all right during these hard times, then surely he would be fine at any other time. He then shrugged to her next response. “Well, I suppose there is beauty in Leaf-bare but honestly, Leaf-bare carries death with it. Plus anyway, my fur is rather short and thin in comparison to yours,” He pointed out. “You probably have a better time in leaf-bare than most,” he continued with a smile on his maw. “While I on the other paw don’t have to worry about burning in green-leaf,” he purred.
As Dawnlight looked away to look at the clearing, Stormstrike followed her gaze until he could no longer see where she was looking from out the corner of his eye so he did some exploring of his own. The clearing was buzzing with activity as kits played and warriors conversed with each other. A gentle breeze weaved through the camp and Stormstrike could only tell this because of the way the leaves on the trees surrounding the camp moved, being encouraged by an invisible force. He closed his eyes as focused on the touch of the breeze as it coursed through it fur. He felt the strands of soft grass below his paws, picking at it with his claws. The warrior was in amazement that nature could be so soft in such hard times.
He opened his eyes slowly when the she-cat across from him spoke again. His gaze flickered as it focused on the scene in front of him. He nodded. “I admit, I’m curious to know if any of the leaders are ready to settle down for a bit of peace.” Stormstrike was looking forward to the next gathering. He knew inevitably that there would be a fight and he wanted to prevent that where possible, but he was still curious. Had there been a leader wise enough to change their mind?
