It felt like twice as many moons had passed for Jaybreeze than normal, but the day had finally come. He was a warrior now; a WindClan warrior. Pride swelled in his chest, and his yellow gaze beamed with a mixture of emotions. Happiness, relief, exhaustion, sadness... His muscles ached from his assessment the night before, but it felt worth it to finally not be a 'paw anymore. Jaybreeze. He was sure Blazingstar had picked it out to make note of his half-Clan heritage, and how he'd fought hard to be apart of WindClan despite his ThunderClan heritage. It made the young tom smile, and he glanced around for his fellow companion, a she-cat who had been named alongside him. One of his only friends in WindClan, and someone who kept him grounded in times of great dispair, or when he was missing ThunderClan and she was the only feline who would understand.
After a couple moments of searching, Jaybreeze spotted her ebony and ginger pelt a few tail-lengths away. "Looks like we're both warriors at the same time, Larkhowl," he purred as he came up behind her, batting at her ear in a friendly manner. He came to sit in front of her, curling his thin tail across his paws. He was seated straight and head lifted a bit high, as if he wanted to show every cat in the Clan he was now a warrior instead of an apprentice. "Are you excited?" he asked her, ears flicking in anticipation for her answer. There was nothing the gray furred tom wanted to do more than stretch his legs across the moorland and race alongside his friend, but he knew they would be expected to hold their vigil tonight - something that would be made hard with Larkhowl sitting right beside him.

The tortoiseshell was practically bouncing from the excitement of becoming a warrior. She would finally be able to leave the camp unattended, and her days of trailing around after her mentor were over. She could admit that she would miss having an older cat to talk to, as it did release her boredom and stress from day to day, but overall, she thought that becoming a warrior was amazing. Not to mention, the amount of praise and congratulations she had received just simply made her feel ecstatic, and the young femme couldn't hold back the pride that blossomed inside of her.
Tumbling through her thoughts like a reckless kit, Larkhowl was eventually shaken out of her daze by a string of words behind her. A look of feigned hurt tugged at her lips, as she became a victim of Jaybreeze's bat to the ear. Yet, it was swept off of her face almost immediately; her giddiness getting to her. "What do you mean 'am I excited'? Of course I am!" The female pranced around her friend, tracing a small circle around him, before coming back to her original position. She shook out her head, inwardly scolding herself for her obnoxious actions. Honestly, she was just itching to get out of the camp, to gallop amongst the territory with a newfound sense of self-knowing. Larkhowl, ebony coat twirling back-and-forth across the spine of her back, suddenly sat down beside Jaybreeze; her gaze filled with hope, and a twinge of worry for what the future held for her. She took a deep breath, wanting to avoid thinking about what Starclan had planned for the clans. "What about you?" She asked, briskly attempting to sway her mind away from the pessimistic thoughts that still lingered inside of her head.
