Default Re: WindClan Clearing

Rainkit shushed Harekit with a quiet hiss. Just because they were small kittens didn't mean they were invisible, and she reckoned they'd catch unwanted attention if they tread too loudly.
She learned over time that seeing kits wander around freely wasn't too odd a sight in their clan. Yet it was her own nagging conscious that kept her from moving as gaily as her siblings did now. She was in fact very clever for her age, and didn't want their mother's whereabouts to come into question simply because Harekit and Chickenkit had rumbly bellies.
//
"Hey! There it is!" Harekit yipped carelessly, ignoring his sister's earlier warning for them to be careful. He romped ahead to the fresh-kill pile without another word, and dunked his nose into the mound to sniff for his favorite piece. Chickenkit joined moments later.

There was never a time Rainkit didn't think her brothers only partway listened to her. They only ever seemed keen on her voice when they needed someone to take responsibility. After that, well, no one could really reach them until their goal for the day was concluded. -In this case, stuffing their faces.
"Chicken, wait your turn. Hare, don't get scraps everywhere!"
