Ghostpaw walked out of the apprentice den,excited to train with Grovepaw and Pikepaw. He sensed tension in the air almost as soon as he entered the clearing though.There had been a lot of tension recently because of the other clans,but this was more than usual. Was the battle really approaching now?at first he got worried,but then an idea crossed his mind. If i can fight hard enough,maybe i can become a warrior sooner!,he thought to himself.He looked around for Pikepaw,wanting to tell both of his siblings about his idea before the battle.

Pikepaw was curled up near the fresh kill pile her eyes narrowed. She watched her brother walk out of the apprentice's den.She'd sit up to see what he was doing,but she then turned her head away from him. She wasn't super happy after the argument not that long ago with one of her siblings. Pikepaw remembered about a battle? That was going to happen. A-A battle?! No not now!She thought about the battle. She didn't want to fight since she knew something bad might happen to her or one of her siblings. Pikepaw was a pacifist person and sometimes refused to fight even though she was training to fight she still didn't want to. She took a deep breath and waited for Ghostpaw to notice her and then try to find Grovepaw afterwards.
