Jaggedspring then moved his way around the bush. He saw the bird was injured. Perfect Prey. He smiled as he got into a crouch and pounced. With one swift bite, the bird went limp in his jaws. Jaggedspring walked around the bush and toward his apprentice with a satisfied smile on his face. "See I took care of it like how you should" Jaggedspring mewed. He wanted to see what her reaction was to him catching a bird when she looked like she had felt sympathy for the bird. It's just a bird, not a cat He thought making him think that his apprentice was foolish for feeling bad for a bird.
Alook of dismay washed over Patchpaw's face as she saw him killing the bird "B-but Jaggedspring" she said softly "the bird stood no chance against you" her mouth was agape and she was taken aback what else would he do this to she debated. Her eyes stayed locked on the bird hanging from his mouth. I understand its prey but should it really be killed in such a manner, I mean as kits we are taught not to play with food, is this much of a diffrence. Her head was hot with thoughts questioning morals; Both his, and her own. Her face remained twisted in confliction, still unable to look away from her mentor, and the bird dangling from his jaws.
