" he answered sounding a bit out of breath from the fright . His ears folded back a bit as he looked down for a minute before looking back at her "were still going to see the dog riiight?...I swear I thought I was in the right track! She stood, looking determined as she decided to get rid of Russus's embarrassment as soon as she could. "Besides, it'd make no sense to turn back now- not when we're so close! I think I can already smell the mangy thing- can you?" She sent the tom a questioning glance before turning and trotting off to follow the scent trail, counting on her sibling following.
