Darkwings growled again as she arrived on the throne room. Her red markings were pulsing steadily, angrily, as she sat down in a chair near a window. The sunlight warmed her wings, but the sight of Claw with Reneki and the others sent chills over her body. She stared at the bow still clutched in her claws, and withdrew the arrow with a sigh.
"Not Reneki," she murmured.
