The long-furred leader placed his paws against the ground, easing himself forward. With each paw step, he was that much closer to his destination. Until he leaned forward, landing square on the back of the blue jay. Before it could even whistle its shrill alarm cry to the heavens, Windystar broke it’s neck with a simple nip to the spine.
