Of all the cats in ShadowClan, Needlescar seemed to be the only cat other than his sister that never made fun on his eyes. He hoped one day, the other apprentices and few immature warriors would understand that it was low-lying fruit. At this point, he was beginning to get more irritated than upset each time one would knowingly shove into him or spit a snide remark in the den.
That didn't stop the young tom from stomping through the damp ground beside his mentor with a scowl, face taut.
"Do you actually think I'll ever be a warrior?" He grumbled, trudging along. He'd progressed much slower than his fellow apprentices, but Needlescar's patience had eased his anxiety multiple times. He may have needed twice or three times the amount another cat did to understand a battle maneuver, but he did eventually understand.
The blind tom had yet to ask what their game plan was for today's training, however, time with his mentor was enough.

hahaha i thought i posted this like 3 weeks ago im sorry for being absent-minded,,,,, i think we decided like time we talked to roll with it as if they'd been training for a while since hes about 10-11 moons. lemme know if there's a problem]

(Sounds good to me <3)

Needlescar turned towards her apprentice, her gaze soft at his question. "Of course you will," she replied, "you might need a bit of extra training, but it'll all pay off in the end." She sounded confident in her reply, her tail curling behind her. Her apprentice had promise, despite needing a bit more help. Needlescar was confident that Smokepaw would be a good warrior for the Clan. The slim she-cat paused for a moment. Perhaps they should work on what he needed improvement with.

"I was thinking we could go over some of the things we've been working on while we're training, see what you've got down and what we need to work on a bit more," she suggested. "Just so we don't focus on things we've already pretty much mastered."
