"speaking of newleaf and greenleaf, what's your favorite season?" spiderpaw questioned innocently enough, looking up at oakflame interrogatively. she padded behind her mentor before a gnarly, twisted branch snagged her fur. the female shook herself, unhooking the branch from her pelt. spiderpaw continued casually, as though nothing had happened, but was more cautious and careful where she stepped and made sure not to go too close to the branch-full trees.
