The reddish brown molly sighed, she's definitely gonna have to get used to this.....but her father Majesty was right....it was the safest place for her, being too young and all to be out on her own then . Her scar across her right shoulder stuck out like a sore thumb as the light hit her pelt , a ...prize she supposed that she got from that horrible fox...murderer ... she thought bitterly . Her yellow orbs spotted an elder who's mossbed looked like it needed replacing so she casually padded over to her and gave her kind glance and smiled the best she could through the moss which she sat down once she made it to poppybriar "hello, I was wondering if I could change your mossbed? Or if not.....is there anything else I could do? " she asked with a tilt of her head, her Australian accent clear and smooth. If she couldnt do normal apprentice duties atleast she could do this. This way she was sort of being useful .

The mangy older she-cat had eyes on the young apprentice from the moment she entered the elder's den. She knew exactly who she was, just as well as she had documented all the other half-clan cats, ex-loners, rogues and kittypets. It had become a bit of an obsession in recent times, really the clan was flooded with all sorts of outsiders it was rare to find a cat of pure ThunderClan blood these days, but old grudges died hard. "Of course they would send a kitty apprentice to tend to the old." Poppybriar sniffed dismissively, turning her murky yellow eyes away from the young cat and inspecting her paw in an incredibly pompous manner. "Though I suppose they must've thought you were too soft for work for real apprentices." She flicked her tail to her nest on the other side of the den, "The moss needs refreshing, but don't take the moss from the stump outside the camp, only the moss from the stream bed will do." This was only the start, the elder had every intention of making Umberpaw as miserable as possible today.
