Pigeonpaw's heart sank as Torrentfeather stifled her plans.
"Well, I just...wanted to go hunting. I was so bored in camp and everyone was so busy!" Her tail drooped into the sand. She gave the warrior a pleading look.
Please StarClan, don't let her make me go back into camp! She glanced at Dodgepaw, feeling bad for how Torrentfeather treated him. Maybe he would join her in sneaking out, if they could escape the warrior's judgmental gaze. She bet the SkyClan apprentice wouldn't mind sneaking out to spite her.
