Blinking, Fawnsqueak hadn't noticed that before, and his jaw went slack in surprise. "Wow, what happened?" His inquiry was concerned, the rest forgotten for a fleeting second until he was questioning inwardly if that was how a mentor would react, if it was professional of him to do that. As if afraid someone might overhear, he dropped his voice to confess, "I don't even think.. I'm qualified to be a warrior, honestly. Much less qualified to actually train one.."

"A rogue gave me trouble in the Outskirts," Cougarpaw meowed nonchalantly. At hearing the tom's confession, Cougarpaw blinked in understanding but gave a friendly chuckle, rolling her eyes playfully. "You never think you're qualified to do anything. You don't think you're qualified to be a warrior, yet here you stand in front of me having gotten your warrior name early. I mean come on, you know Lionstar only gives warrior ceremonies to those he thinks are worthy...or at least I think that's the truth." She paused for a moment, her tail twitching as her face fell flat. "Even though sometimes the truth can be harmful to those involved..." she added softly. For a moment she seemed to forget that Fawnsqueak was there as Cougarpaw's yellow gaze fell to the earth.
