"Ewww...dandelion sounds disgusting! Is there a way to make herbs sweeter?" She asked eagerly. Maybe that could help finicky cats eat herbs... She nodded at her mentor's reminder. Nightfall was gaining on them.
"Okay, let's go! I'm so excited!" She purred, circling Tallmarsh.

Tallmarsh felt a swell of pride at her apprentice's questions. Irispaw was thinking like a medicine cat and asking all of the right things. Maybe she wouldn't be as hard to train as Tallmarsh had feared.
"We use honey for that. It's sweet, so it masks the flavor of gross-tasting herbs," she explained. As she turned and began to lead the way, she said,
"We're going to Two-Leg Place first to find catmint." She by no means wanted to go back there--she dreaded going there every time she went catmint-hunting--but she needed the herb, and she knew that Irispaw needed the experience. She gave her apprentice a stern glance, daring her to argue.
