"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself!" Pigeonpaw exclaimed, prodding him playfully with one paw.
"Y'know, everyone learns differently and everyone's got different skills. Here, uh, just try to copy what I do." That's how training works, right? Pigeonpaw wanted to help, but she hadn't really had a good, formal training session at all, except for the one where Eagleflight and Riverpaw had participated. All of her learning had been through practice and interactions with warriors who
weren't her mentors. She'd become pretty self-sufficient, but wasn't sure how to
teach.
She dropped back into her fishing stance, making sure to keep her shadow off the water. She held her right paw hovering slightly above the ground--not over the water, just in mid-air, tucked close, ready to strike like a snake. Her kind eyes glanced at Fawnsqueak, and then back at the water.
"Practice makes perfect," She added softly.
